Mora Linda is the owner of her family's well-known and reputable Las Lindas farm in the verdant grasslands of western Prism. Mora is a selfish and uncompromising woman who demands the world make a path for her wherever she goes. She was born with a short fuse and a fiery soul, clashing with anyone who disagrees with her. And due to her healthy farm-grown body and natural beauty, many have crossed Mora's path only to find that they were stepping stones themselves. Mora is untamable, strong-willed, and very independent, but only the sudden news of her parent's passing was significant enough to transform her wild nights into the long days of field work on her rustic family farm. Las Lindas, now dilapidated from many years without Mora's family's care, is now Mora's refuge to reflect upon herself and mature. But the demanding stress of keeping her family's business from those who seek to take it has been taxing her too strongly. Now she seeks help and able workers to come to Las Lindas and get it running just as her parents had, and she sure has found herself a colorful bunch of characters indeed.

Minos is an inexplicable man. Age, previous work record, where he is from, and what he is doing here are all best left unknown. After an accidental meeting, Minos came to the farm saying he wanted to live his life in peace. Minos surely did not know who he was dealing with! Minos doesn’t talk much and doesn’t believe in idle conversation. He will often ignore a direct question or supply an insufficient answer just to remain veiled and independent. However, at times when the situation demands it the most, Minos will sagely provide the means for peace to prevail. As a great equalizing force with both the wisdom and the muscle to sway the lives of others, Minos is often thought of as Mora's much needed other half, calmly assessing situations and doing what is best regardless of opposing forces. Minos grew on Mora’s good side rather quickly by working unlike anyone Mora has ever seen before. He works long hours, demands nothing in return, and simply makes himself useful during his off hours. What is known about the curious powerhouse is the fact that he takes great enjoyment working the rustic chores of Mora’s farm. Almost as if he understands his task on a greater level than everyone else, every job he touches turns to gold. The curious element about Minos is that not only does he finish his laborious tasks with relative ease; he finishes them in record time. Sometimes, on rare occasion, some say they have seen him execute feats of obviously immortal strength.

Miles Lionheart is a totally unmotivated half-wit, a lecherous girl-watcher, and probably the worst penny-pincher you will ever meet. Miles selfishness is unbounded and his ambitions are few, making him an amiable rogue of a man with few things in life to care about. As a materialistic philistine and a card carrying pessimist, he lives his entire life believing happiness is only a paycheck away, after taxes. And only due to his seemingly invincible arrogance has he been able to survive Mora's onslaught of indignities as she tries to mould him into something greater. Miles' contribution to Las Lindas has been minimal, as he is unskilled and unwilling to learn, but Mora retains him due to Miles' careful manipulation of the emotions of those around him. He is fully aware that Mora needs all the help she can get and is along for the ride as long as Mora is afloat. But to be less critical of him, he has shown strength of character at times when it is needed most, seeing through the things he promises to do to the end, although those promises are made few and far between.

Taffy is a young motherly maiden who takes great enjoyment in caring for others. She was recruited to Las Lindas as a simple maid and cook, but brings with her an invaluable essence of comfort, safety, and a real home. But despite her dedication to Mora and her workers, she is unable to take charge in a stressful or confusing situation, revealing a weak foundation of character and lack of confidence in what she can really do. She will often find herself viscerally unable to refuse someone she cares about, and will postpone her goals of education, self fulfillment, and enjoyment in light of other's needs. Taffy makes the happiness of others her personal responsibility, and the farm and those in it have become the family she always wanted.

Sarah Silkie believes life is a wonderful adventure. She is an energetic youth that travels with her older surrogate sister across the land with a longing for excitement and challenges, classic to the thieves of legend. Even though the two sisters were practically destitute and hungry, Sarah treated the whole situation as an adventure from which the fun simply could not end. Having never been to school, or even in the presence of a large group of people at one time, she is unbelievably free spirited and blissfully ignorant, looking up to her sister as the only believable source of information. Even though one would imagine her life as one of hardship, the bond shared between Rachael and herself shields her heart from the perils they overcome daily. At times, some call her the 'Flower Girl' at Las Lindas because of her youthful natural beauty, delicate frame, and vibrant energy, also probably because she never does any real work. Without Rachael's guidance, she has been known to be 'thin-skinned' and take insults straight to her overly-large heart, forcing her to cry with almost no provocation.

Rachael Saleigh is a jaded personality who seems to have seen a lot in her young life. She takes the world as it comes to her with a skeptical air as if daring things to come right for her and discard their meaningless pretenses. Strangers are met with a wary gaze and a serpentine tongue that will strike if provoked. Due to an incomplete but generous private school education, Rachael acts as Las Lindas' accountant, a job that would send less-dedicated professionals fleeing for the hills. But Rachael has a sense of duty that stems from a desire to see Sarah kept healthy and safe, as Rachael believes herself to be Sarah's one chance for a better life. Rachael views her life on the farm as a chance to finally do things 'the right way' for herself and her sister, but still retains the skills and attitude it took to live in much harder circumstances.

Alejandra Coldthorn knows the ins and outs of the commercial world like the back of her hand. As a shining example of rags to riches, Alejandra came from humble beginnings as a farmer's daughter to founding one of the most dominant forces of Gossamer's agricultural market. Emboldened by years of success, she has grown used to getting what she wants from anyone, whether it is a lucrative contract or preferential treatment from city officials. However the emergence of Las Lindas farm has caused her to feel threatened with not only the possibility of direct competition, but with the chance that her rival Mora Linda might once again take something that she feels is rightfully hers. On the outside, Alejandra easily exudes the aura of someone who owns whatever room she enters but her desperation to silence Mora hints to a deep well of emotions she refuses to bring to the surface. She is passionate and dedicated to her job as CEO, which sometimes causes her to seek unorthodox methods in preserving her image as a prominent figure in her industry.

Ambar is the vastly esteemed High Prime of Neo Earth. Ambar is a paragon of efficiency and leadership, dedicating much of her time to self-improvement and intellectual growth. And through it rose to riches and fame as this new enabling power swept across the nations of the world. Ambar was personally elected to rule as the first 'High Prime' of the Prime race when the royal family's bloodline no longer served and has been a very loyal and dedicated public servant. Recently, we have discovered Minos knows this woman well enough to ask for favors. And now that Ambar's attention has been focused on the young Las Lindas farm, who knows what will become of it.

Digit is Mora's 'Resident Spirit' for Las Lindas. Resident spirits are normally treasured as priceless additions to the owner's life. The scope of their utility is so broad that they can bring the house they serve virtually to life with automations and personal touches. And since they are fundamentally created from Ambar's patented Nano-Zell technology, they are the only synthetic beings in the world with an extra bit of something few other than Ambar could comprehend. There is also an unexplainable kind of synergy with the spirit and its owner that allows them to grow in tandem and mature together. But due to Mora's lack of attention to Digit, this bond is very weak. Digit's inexperience, compounded with the side effect of her childish naïveté, seem to get her into trouble at every turn. The one clear thing about Digit is that she intends to serve her owner the best she can and become all she can be, knowing full well what wonders she will be able to accomplish if Mora will let Digit into her heart.
