Thank you for deciding to donate to a Las Lindas bonus arc! Click on one of the counters below in order to donate via PayPal.
Remember that the counters are just images and do not update automatically after a donation. I manually update them after receiving e-mail notifications from PayPal. It is also possible that the counters may not update if an old counter is stored in your browser's cache. If you have Firefox, you can push Ctrl+F5 to force it to check for a new counter.

Thank you for deciding to help Las Lindas! Your donation not only encourages us to continue our work, you are helping choose which parts of the Las Lindas universe you would like to see in our special bonus content. In a nutshell, instead of throwing money at us and hoping your donations help, you are buying comics. It's like you were commissioning the artist himself! This system helps people feel they can contribute even if they do not have a lot to give. This is a public effort to buy pages where you only donate however much you want toward an idea. The more people that want to see that idea come to life, the faster pages will be bought and produced for you. This is the only way Las Lindas accepts donations now, so just pick a favorite and put your money down toward what you want to see. If you just wanted to donate, and none of the arcs really interest you, just donate for Las Lindas itself using the bottom counter or just pick one at random. Here is how it works: You donate to a paritcular comic arc you want to see, if the number goes over $50 for a comic, a comic page has been purchased and we register that we owe you a page of that arc. Every weekend, we pick a single page from what we owe and display it along with the regular Las Lindas comic. Simple, huh? As an example, if you want to donate towards a particular arc, you can donate a part of the amount ($1, $5, $25, etc) or the entire amount of $50. But a page is only purchased if the counter equals or goes over $50 at any time. Say you donate $100 at once, that means two comic pages will be purchased at the same time! Not to mention we'd be very grateful too! The counters also "wrap" around the value of $50. So if a counter is at $10, and you donate $40, the counter should display $0 and a page has been owed. Assuming the same scenario, yet you donate $50 instead, then it should "wrap" all the way around to $10 again and mark that a page has been owed. All of your donations go to Chalo, the artist of Las Lindas, and help him with his day to day life as he sees fit. So it is, in essence, as if you were commissioning Chalo himself. Your money is not lost in fees or in cuts to myself or other Katbox denizens. So every dollar makes it to Chalo. Every year, we have to pay a hosting fee for the Katbox, which Chalo will sometimes agree to pay out of donation money, but it is his choice to do so, depending on his situation. |
